Hellgate #2 In Stores Now!
I picked up a copy in Wal-Mart yesterday, so I know they're out there. Based on the video game, the novels portray the adventures of three key players in the fight for London's survival against demon forces.
Simon Cross is a Templar, one of the legendary knights with cutting-edge armor and an on-board AI.
Leah Creasey is a Hunter, a tricked-out MI-6 agent whose blacksuit would make Q green with envy.
Warren Schimmer is a Cabalist, a young man who hovers between the Darkness and the Light, gifted with incredible arcane powers.
I have so got to order this from Amazon. I've had it on my wishlist since I read Exodus. :)
ReplyDeleteCool! Looking forward to it!
ReplyDeleteOMG! I remember you talking about this book in the class I took.
ReplyDeleteI think you may have been plotting it at the time. It sounded interesting then, and even more so now!
I will have to run over to wal-mart and look for it.
I read a lot of books and was totaly blindsided by exodus. I could not wait for goetia. I actually preordered it from amazon thinking it would be at my door on the pub date, but no dice. I had to go out to a store to get it on Feb 26th. The second book is just as good, and I really hope that this series continues past 3 book I also hope that the 3rd book isn't another year away. Good job Mel!!
ReplyDeleteThanks, Gaiden9!
ReplyDeleteI have to say this one has been on my must read list since the first one. But of course, you already know that.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of game-relate novel and read a lot of those(more than a lot, really).
ReplyDeleteI'ld like to give compliment that Hellgate is really action pack and got a good web-story line.
Mel Odom is going to be on my grab list(author's name, that is) along with such as Eric Nylund and Scott Card.
P.S. - English is not my primary language, but I think the book could use a better spellcheck. Not that it's such a big deal, more like a nuisance.
