Red Letter Day For Me!
Tuesday night I got to meet Robert B. Parker, the author of the Spenser series that I've been reading for the last thirty years.
Dr. Parker was witty and charming, as I'd expected he would be. The man has been my hero since I was twenty, and I can't think of anything in my life that his writing hasn't influenced on some level.
He's the one person I've waited all my life to meet.

Good for you, man. It is always great to meet an idol and find that they really are great people that deserve your respect and fandom.
