New Series

His name is Cullen, and he's from South Carolina, where the Civil War kicked off at Fort Sumter.  Grant and Lee may have laid down their swords, but Cullen's still fighting for survival.

Look for the books early in 2012.

Art is by Keith Birdsong.

Awesome art! I don't read too many westerns, but a cover like that just might persuade me.

On a side note, I read a cool novella called The Colossus of Mahrass by some fellow named RJ Salter. I quite enjoyed it but my search on Amazon for further books by the author came up fruitless.

Being somewhat persistent, an Google search eventually revealed that RJ Salter was a pseudonym for a guy named Mel Odom. For Christmas I ordered up a copy of Hunters of the Dark Sea and look forward to reading that.

Joel, Cool! I'm gonna be doing another RJ Salter novella next year. I enjoy the characters a lot. Hope you like HUNTERS. I think it's one of my best books.

After the great work you've been doing in the Rancho Diablo series, I'm definitely looking forward to this. On the other hand, I hope yet another new series from you doesn't mean an even longer wait for the long-promised Shooter York spin-off series, and the next Pulpsmith book, and all the other series you're involved with!
