Am I The Only Person In The World Not Playing This Game?

Everywhere I go, people are talking about this game. I haven't played Guitar Hero 1 or 2 yet. Am I missing something?

My sixteen year-old daughter and my ten year old son asked for this as a joint gift for Christmas. We have to get the XBox to go with it.

First time they've both wanted the same thing.

I'm supposed to be doing a long report that is due tomorrow on your book The Rover, but I stumbled upon here.(I'm in 10th grade) It's really awesome to see an author of such good books doing a regular blog about normal things like Guitar Hero. I guess I'm just used to my favorite authors either being dead or really old. I'll be reading more of your books and reading this more often. Off to do this report now ;)

My kids love this game. The music they've been playing is from the 80's. You would feel at home Mel.

I have to say, it's a really fun game.
Great music, easy learning curve, and it makes you feel somewhat like a rock star. Can't beat that, can ya?

(off to play hellgate: london)

I see a lot of kids playing the demos at walmart. It just does not appeal to me. neither does the dance game. maybe it is because i have no coordination.

soccrmastr, the Rover is one of my favorites too. Good luck on the report.

no I haven't played it yet but I'm pretty sure my boyfriend will go out and buy it and then I'll be hearing it nonstop! haha

Haven't played the third one, but believe it or not, my father got me onto the first two games. He bought the whole setup and games from a work buddy of his and he and I take turns back and forth, just going down the list of songs. I always whip his butt. Going after him, and thus hearing the song before playing it, has its advantages.
